| The Lebanese German Business Council (LGBC) is a group of Lebanese and German Businessmen, founded in 1997. The council is a non-governmental and non profit-seeking institution. |

| The Council was initiated and supported by the German Embassy in Lebanon and the Delegation of German Industry and Trade. |
|
| The LGBC intends to improve the dialogue between Lebanese and German Businessman. |
|
| The members of the LGBC commit themselves to work and lobby for a better business environment and for close economical ties between Lebanon and Germany. |
|
| The LGBC has set up a junior council in which young people not yet active in business gather. |
|
| The LGBC is represented by a Board of six members, three of them are Lebanese, three German. |
|
| The LGBC through its Board and its members identifies projects and activities through which the public gets a better idea of the market and business environment in Lebanon and Germany. |
|
| All LGBC members are invited to meet once a month to get to know each other, to find business opportunities, and to receive selected guests from outside the LGBC. |
